At the conclusion of the two projects ("The Man-in-Nature Project" and the "Chiapas Project") the chief investigator, Norman A. McQuown, compiled this report on all the findings.
Collection Technical Notes: 
Text is an annotated copy of the published report, which (according to the first page) once belonged to Norman Zide). It was found by Barbara Need in the Linguistics Department amongst the items donated by Professor Norman Zide. The loose pages have been collected in a hard-cover binder, and they have been scanned.

Maya vocabulary and texts from Belize: Yucatan Maya (G.D. Jones, 1968)

Speaking in Spanish and reading from a 100-word Swadesh list, Jones elicits Yucatec Maya tokens from Felix Uk, who pronounces them three times. (Another (unnamed) native speaker also participates.)

Five Tojolabal texts to accompany Louanna Furbee's dissertation

Furbee specified these five texts for Joseph Toth to copy onto this tape. She subsequently submitted this recording as a adjunct to her doctoral dissertation (c. 1971).
