An unnamed American man records two performances by an unnamed Buna-speaking tribe in New Guinea (1941).
Collection Technical Notes:
This is a set of three aluminum discs, recorded in Papua New Guinea in 1941 and consisting of two types of recording: 1) two discs [Nos. 1 & 3] of native performers and 2) an experimental disc [No. 2] made by the (unnamed) researcher describing in detail the equipment and recording standards he is using. The WAVE files are converted to MP3s.
