Four native speakers (three men, one woman) voice the 30 lessons, consisting entirely of conversations. Neither record set retains a script of the conversations (and only one copy of the "Grammar of Modern Swedish").
Collection Technical Notes: 
Masters consist of two sets of discs issued c. 1930 by the Linguaphone Institute of London: 1) a complete set of 15 discs, and 2) an incomplete set that is missing Discs 1 & 4. The MP3 versions are ready. (Gift of Kostas Kazazis to the LLA on 4/24/2000)

Faculty member Gösta Franzén voices the pronunciation section of the textbook, Basic Swedish Grammar. (This is apparently the text now found in Regenstein Library: Basic Swedish Grammar, by Ann-Mari Beite (et al.), Stockholm: Almqvist & Wiksell, 1963.)

Tape was recorded at the Language Lab studio on 10 October 1963; reboxed by JJT on 25 Aug. 1982. WAVE file is now converted to an MP3.
