Collection Descriptive Notes: 
After being introduced by an unnamed speaker, Yngve addresses the conference, held in Kresge Auditorium on the M.I.T. campus. He reads from a paper (by "Mr. Andrea"), who could not attend the conference. After about 17 minutes the floor is opened for audience comments.
Collection Technical Notes: 
Tape may or may not be the original live recording. (Gift of V. Yngve to the LLA in Feb. 2002) The WAVE file is now converted to an MP3.
