Tape lessons to accompany Intermediate Nepali reader [on cassette]

Various native speakers (male) voice the texts and exercises of Lessons 1-12 of the textbook (=Volume 2 of the set entitled Intermediate Nepali Structures [sic] (Madison, WI: Dept. of South Asian Studies, University of Wisconsin-Madison, 1978).
Collection Technical Notes: 
Eight master cassettes are the copies sent from Madison in December 1987. (These constitute Tapes 11-18 of the 18 tape set; see Item 2090.) These cassettes were donated to the LLA by Matthew Kapstein on 3/31/89. (It is not clear what relation these tapes have to the open-reel set, but these lessons appear to be identical to the ones on that set.) WAVE files are converted to MP3s.

Various native speakers (male) give an exposition of Nepali pronunciation and grammar (followed by pattern drills) from the textbook (=Volume 1 of the two-volume set entitled Intermediate Nepali Structures [sic] (Madison, WI: Dept. of South Asian Studies, University of Wisconsin-Madison, 1978).

Various native speakers (male) voice the texts and exercises of Lessons 1-12 of the textbook (=Volume 2 of the set entitled Intermediate Nepali Structure (apparently the one published in New Delhi by Manohar in 1979). The tapes were recorded at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Collection Technical Notes: 
Masters are the copies sent from the Univ. of Wisconsin c. 1979 and donated to the LLA by Colin Masica on 5/13/80. (It is not clear what relation this series has to the version on cassettes issued by Wisconsin in 1978.) Note: At intervals a low-level tone marks off the various parts of each lesson as well as the conclusion of each lesson. (The tones are deleted from the digitized files.) WAVE files are now converted to MP3s.
