Author Mithilesh Mishra takes to the LLA studio and, using a portable cassette recorder, voices the lessons for his classes to use in: spring 1998, autumn and winter 1998-99, autumn and winter 1999-2000 and autumn 2000. The course was listed as South Asian 233-234-235.
Collection Technical Notes: 
Cassettes are the live studio recordings. For the sake of simplicity JJT has assigned a serial number to each tape on the basis of chronology. WAVE files are now converted to MP3s.

Exercises 1-16; Tests 1-6. The exercises consist entirely of the pronunciation of minimal pairs with a pause for repetition. A tone on the left channel marks one or the other of the tokens. (It appears that a man speaking American English joined the speakers in the studio and supervised them.)
Collection Technical Notes: 
Tapes were recorded in the studio of the Language Lab in June-July 1963; John E. Wahl and Donald H. Ledin, rec. engs. (The identity of the recording engineers is based on the handwriting on the back of the boxes.) Each tape was edited (by Wahl?, by Ledin?) to eliminate false starts, errors, etc. (Unreviewed) WAVE files are now converted to MP3s.
