Phonograph records are the set issued by the Linguistics Society of America for the Armed Forces in 1944-45. The discs were dubbed onto tape c. 1960 (See ID#1633.) Note: The digital copies (q.v.)have been made from the tapes (rather than the discs) inasmuch as present equipment does not "read" the discs as well as that in the Old Lab.
Master cassettes are dubs from Adkins’ 7.5 ips “originals” (on seven-inch reels), which he lent to the LLA; JJT, rec. eng., c. 1984. [Note: Cassettes could not be found--JJT, 2/27/18]
Tapes are almost certainly dubs (made in the old Lab in July-Aug. 1955) from the discs entered separately in this catalog. Note: the names of the authors are not on tapes but are supplied from the published text. (Unreviewed) WAVE files are now converted to MP3s.
Danziger reads two prose pieces: “Ha menahel ve ha tarmegolet”;[The boss and the chicken] and “Michtav shlishi me-Israel”;[A third letter from Israel].
