American English speaker voices the English words and sentences in Units 1-12, and a native speaker (male) supplies the Malay equivalents. (Note: The dialect used here is called "Bahasa Melayu" on the recordings and is thus assigned to Malaysia.)

Phonograph records are the set issued during World War II by the United States Armed Forces Institute. Note: Dyen’s name does not appear on the discs but is supplied from the texts. Also note: The tapes were preferred for digitizing inasmuch as their sound is superior to what can be produced with current equipment.Also note: JJT chose "msa" as the language code since "zlm" was not available in this app.
