Collection Descriptive Notes:
Unnamed male and female native speakers render passages from French literature at normal speed; i.e., not slowed down for learners of French.(The "méthode" apparently aims at teaching French via literary passages.)
Collection Technical Notes:
Phonograph records are fifteen 11-inch, 80 rpm, monophonic lacquer Disque Pathé-brand discs made c. 1935. They probably precede the series on 78 rpm discs (q.v.). Note: The sound quality of all the recordings is so very bad that JJT has recommended that they not be digitized. (Clarence E. Parmenter Collection)
