Notes The tape consists of excerpts taken c. 1962 from the live recordings done in the field between 12 February and 26 March 1962. According to Sarles' field notes, he used a Butoba tape recorder. Gift of N.A. McQuown to the LLA on 18 October 1990; the lightly penciled notes on the back of the box were made by McQuown, who dates them 10/12/90.
