Notes This tape contains what are probably the original field recordings; it was donated to the LLA by R.I, McDavid in 1982. It is a quarter-track tape that appears to have been used more than once. Playing Side 1, Track 1 yields one interview that is practically unintelligible; in addition, one hears an obtrusive voice. The beginning of Part 2 of the IN 17A interview is recorded on Track 2. Here, too, one can hear a faint obtrusive voice from time to time. The IN 17A interview ends on Side 2, Track 2. The unerased portions of the KY 14B and IN 10B interviews follow.
