|Collection Descriptive Notes||
For Units 1-5 and 8-14 an unidentified American speaker reads the English tokens, and a native speaker (male) supplies the Serbo-Croatian (twice). In this version Kostas Kazazis also appended recordings of supplementary vocabulary. (The text used for this course, Spoken Serbo-Croatian, was re-issued after the Second World War by the Holt company. It may be found in Regenstein Library.)

Tapes were dubbed (at the University of Chicago?) from the 78 rpm U.S.A.F.I. phonograph records, then Kostas Kazazis added supplementary vocabulary. See collection 2432: Spoken Serbo-Croation: a Basic Course. WAVE files are now converted to MP3s.
