Collection Descriptive Notes | A native male speaker sings one or more versions of several songs. |
Collection Technical Notes | Phonograph records are three needle-cut aluminum discs almost certainly made at the University of Chicago in the 1930s. The attribution of the recordings to Andrade rely on N.A. McQuown's cover page to the texts. Without exception the aluminum stock used for the recordings is of the "Speak-O-Phone" brand, and "Side A" is always considered the one with the manufacturer's logo. |
