Collection Descriptive Notes:
One or another man speaking English introduces the various exercises drawn (probably) from the 1957 edition of Introduction to Modern Arabic, by Farhat J. Ziadeh and R. Bayley Winder (Princeton: Princeton University Press),which can be found in Regenstein Library. A native consultant (male) supplies the Arabic.
Collection Technical Notes:
These masters were dubbed (probably) in the (new) Language Lab in autumn 1962 apparently from phonograph records, which are not in the DMA collection. Note: It is not clear why these materials are called supplements as opposed to the exercises in the textbook itself. (Unreviewed) WAVE files are now converted to MP3s.
