Pedro Miguel Say, a native of the village of Sai, Huehuetenango, Guatemala, dictates twenty-six stories at Los Angeles, CA, from October 1985 to October 1986. Fernando PeƱalosa transcribed the stories in conventional orthography, adding an interlineal Spanish translation.

Cassettes are dubs of the field-recorded cassettes sent to Norman A. McQuown, who lent them (along with the computer print-out of the text) to the LLA on September 22, 1987. Note: Page 64 of the text did not print out correctly. WAVE files are now converted to MP3s.
