Eliza Kennedy tells the story of how she and Lily Keewong got lost in the mallee scrub. Donaldson recorded the story at Ivanhoe, New South Wales (August 1973).
Collection Technical Notes: 
Tape is a dub from the Australian National University Field Tape No. 42, Side 2 (via a C-45 cassette copy lent to the LLA by Jane Rosenthal). Text is a photocopy of Donaldson’s (?) transcript of the tape recording, featuring a minimal phoneticization of the Wangaybawan with interlinear English translation–first literal, then fluent. The text is now scanned, and the WAVE file is converted to an MP3.
