This is Track One of the tape that has "Inkuti Pukunot oo lMassai" on Track Two. The recording consists of dubs from a set or phonograph records (not otherwise identified): a) Maasai sounds and b) Exercises 1-27. The text (not in the DMA collection) was published by Longmans, Green (London) in 1955 and is part of the series, Publications of the African Institute, Leyden, No. 2.

Collection Technical Notes:

This is one of a set of two tapes donated to the LLA c. 1980 by a Miss Mason (of the U. of C. faculty). The source of the tapes is unknown. (Unreviewed) WAVE file is converted to MP3s.

Psychotherapists from various "schools" of therapy gather illustrative examples from their interviews with patients and interpret the procedures and outcomes.

Collection Technical Notes:

Tapes are the copies sent from the Recorded Publications Laboratories to Eugene Gendlin (?) c. 1970. (The conjecture about the recipient is based on the appearance of the scribbled name "Gendlin" on the front of the box holding Tape 38.) How the tapes came to reside in the LLA is unknown. WAVE files are now converted to MP3s.
