Doke's The Phonetics of the Zulu Languages (Johannesburg, South Africa, 1926): Side A: The Lord's Prayer in four Bantu languages (Tswana, Sesotho, Xhosa, and Zulu); Side B: "Zulu Texts, No. 2, Doke's page 2-5-4" and "Zulu text on page 1-9-5, Doke's".
Collection Technical Notes: 
Phonograph record is a disc described on the Side A label as "Acetate re-recording from Aluminum original by the Sound Specialties Co., Waterbury, Conn.” The original was recorded on 27 April 1934. It is not known how this disc came into the Language Lab collection. The WAVE files are now converted to (unreviewed) MP3s.

Tapes were recorded at the Language Laboratory studio in 1966-67. Note that the alternate classifying scheme ("Series 8", etc.) on the Tamil tapes may have been done at the behest of Donald Ledin in order to cut through the confusion of conflicting titles, versions, etc. WAVE files are now converted to MP3s.
