One (or more) native speakers (male) voice the examples of the Irish vowels and consonants.
Collection Technical Notes: 
Phonograph record is the 10-inch, 78 rpm, monophonic lacquer Linguaphone Language Record disc, cat. nos. Ir.S.1.E and Ir.S.2.E. (Two copies of) the text, "Guide to Irish Pronunciation" came with the disc. Copy 1 is now scanned. WAVE file is now converted to an MP3.

Each of six professors talks about the language family that is his area of specialization. (The talks were delivered on the University of Chicago campus during the summer of 1955.)
Collection Technical Notes: 
In 1976 the original recordings from the 1950s (it is not clear whether these were the live recordings) were dubbed for salvage purposes by JJT. He apparently discarded the originals. The WAVE files are converted to MP3s.

This is a collection of the field recordings of Mary Catherine Gruber in preparation of her dissertation and a pdf copy on CD of her dissertation.
Collection Technical Notes: 
CDs created with iTunes do not have production dates -- CDs with no dates were made with iTunes, otherwise dates were recorded. CDs created with Windows Media Player or Windows Explorer do have dates. The lack of production date on a CD then is a function of how it was created; production date is not recoverable from iTunes CDs.
