This is a redigitization of the tape, inasmuch as the previous attempt was done at levels both too high and too low. Tape was played on the quarter-track TEAC A-3440. The outputs of the Channel 2 and Channel 3 jacks were patched into the UCA202 device, which was connected via a USB cable to the iMac running Audacity. Given the extremes in the gain level, JJT has digitized the recordings in four parts. Before he melded all the parts together, he adjusted the levels both up and down to approach an average level. |
