Notes | In order to eliminate interference from other tracks, the signal on the Revox PR99 was split using the selector switch on the front of the machine. Two cables, therefore, were patched into the Fireface 400. Note: This is probably the beginning of the recording session (i.e., Track 1). On this file it was necessary to patch together some four or five different takes, inasmuch as it was necessary to use mechanical means to keep the weaving tape in contact with the playback head. |
