Content description | Shuy interviews Harry Jones in Ogle County on 4 April 1961. These are the first two parts of the interview. |
Object Type | PhysicalObject |
Medium | 1/4 inch audio tape |
Contributor | Shuy, Roger W. (interviewer); Jones, Harry Wynn (consultant) |
Notes | Tape was dubbed from the first of two 3.75 ips, half-track, field-recorded originals on seven-inch reels and 1.5-mil stock lent to the LLA by R.I. McDavid; filtered; JJT, rec. eng., 4/26/78. (JJT determined the year of the recording by remarks on the tape saying it is Tuesday, April 4.) Each track of the dub is recorded, corresponding to the two tracks of the original. About halfway through Track 2 the volume level drops off, but JJT compensated for it by raising the record level. |
