Content description | Contents (as found): A few minutes on Side A finishes Dorothe's translation of her story about working a buai market in Moresby. The rest of the tape is spot recordings of Bexeva's "shiva", including wailing, & the kundu singing - much clearer recording the lapun Gabagi's funeral. Bexeva was the 1stborn daughter of Anna & Tony Nindim. She had an inoperable brain tumor which had made her blind, & and they knew would kill her. A profoundly sad event for all. |

Notes | Cassette is the original field recording. Note: It is not clear whether there is a recording of voice only on Side A: Each side seems to contain the "mourning for Bexeva" on 3/1/98 (as noted on the spine). |
