Notes |
These interviews are almost certainly the field-recorded originals, lent to the LLA by R.I. McDavid c. 1977. The gain level is generally low, and white noise pervades the recordings. JJT found a pencilled note on lined paper inside the tape box. JJT reads: “The 1st side of this, & 1st 190’ (+) of the second side complete the interview with Mr. Larimore (& friend) (186.1) of near Greenburgh, Ky. The rest of side 2 is the beginning of an interview with (Mrs. Elater [?] also Mr) Crosier -- Ind 156.1 / Larimore recording bad - Crosier a little better.” (Document remains on file.) |
