Tape was dubbed from Track One of the 3.75 ips, field-recorded original on 1-mil stock and a seven-inch reel lent to the LLA by Raven I. McDavid; JJT, rec. eng., 7/25/77. (Track Two contains a different interview.) This is apparently the second tape that Thompson recorded. Since the original track ran over an hour, JJT had to use two tracks to copy it. The signal was filtered for the dubbing. This master was treated in Nov. 2010 in a dehydrator to correct a sticky-shed problem. |
