Anthropologist Fred Eggan reminisces about his early life, entrance into anthropology, and the University of Chicago during Radcliffe-Brown’s time. The interview was recorded on 22 December 1969, in room 225 of the Social Science Reseach building, University of Chicago, in response to a question-outline prepared by G.W. Stocking.
