| Collection Technical Notes | Tapes may or not be the field-recorded originals, especially since they were recorded in the quarter-track configuration and were dubbed over two tapes originally titled "Fiesta del Equipo de Basquetbol". Note: There is no archival value in the (partially erased) musical passages. Also note: JJT has not located any originals corresponding to these tapes, and he has not been able to find out how these relate to other tapes discussing the field work. For now, these are the only recordings in the DMA pertaining to the discussions of July 1961. WAVE files are now converted to MP3s. |
