| Collection Technical Notes | Tapes are probably the original live recordings. (Note: "WMS" stands for Williams.) Norman McQuown, in rearranging the Bachajon tapes, assigned the Roman numerals "III" and "IV" to these tapes. But JJT switched the numbers around to restore the original chronological sequence. (The codes for the WAVE files follow the Roman numerals; i.e., "3" and "4"). In 1976 Franklin McCabe Lee tight-wound these tapes to improve their preservation. WAVE files are now converted to MP3s. |
