| Collection Technical Notes | This series comprises ten tapes, eight of them on paper stock (and in the original boxes) and two on acetate stock. It is fairly certain that the tapes on paper stock constitute a "set", but it is unknown how the ones on acetate fit in. Note: There was originally an eleventh tape attached to this series, but it was found to contain only dubs of choir music from commercial records on acetate stock. [It has been discarded.--JJT, 4/1/15.] The code "MWT" in McQuown's shelf numbers for the Peck tapes stands for "Mam Witchcraft Texts". It is not clear how these ten tapes differ from the ones titled "Mam Witchcraft Texts". WAVE files are now converted to MP3s. |
