Doke's The Phonetics of the Zulu Languages (Johannesburg, South Africa, 1926): Side A: The Lord's Prayer in four Bantu languages (Tswana, Sesotho, Xhosa, and Zulu); Side B: "Zulu Texts, No. 2, Doke's page 2-5-4" and "Zulu text on page 1-9-5, Doke's".
Collection Technical Notes
Phonograph record is a disc described on the Side A label as "Acetate re-recording from Aluminum original by the Sound Specialties Co., Waterbury, Conn.” The original was recorded on 27 April 1934. It is not known how this disc came into the Language Lab collection. The WAVE files are now converted to (unreviewed) MP3s.
