Collection Descriptive Notes
Berlin, speaking in Tzeltal, prompts Aguilar to repeat Tzeltal words and phrases to illustrate stress patterns in the language. (The dialect specified here is Bachajón Tzeltal.) A phonetic transcription of the tokens is attached to the tape.
Collection Technical Notes
Tape was dubbed in 1964 at the Language Laboratory from the copy sent by Brent Berlin. (Berlin’s copy was returned to him.) The text (consisting of six manuscript sheets) appears to have been folded into the tape box. WAVE files are now converted to MP3s.
