Collection Descriptive Notes
Passage called “Katsodrous” from a collection of stories from the first volume of a journal named Laografia.
Collection Technical Notes
This series consists of: 1) a pancake of acetate stock run off from the two original five-inch reels; and 2) a fragment from the tape coded as ALB 81.SKP.1.2 (OT). This fragment (from Latas) has been copied onto the same DAT that contains Item No. 1. The two field recordings were recorded at 7.5 ips on what was probably a Magnemite tape recorder (which yielded one track located approximately in the center of the tape). Mrs. Margot Hamp operated the tape recorder under the supervision of Mr. Hamp in Lata (Aliveri) in the eparchy of Evvoia (Greece). MP3 versions of the WAVE files have now been prepared.
