Collection Descriptive Notes
Apparently in response to someone's request, Hamp analyzes the recordings made by a woman describing herself as coming from Kosov (Kosova). She reads from a series of Tosk texts into which she injects a variety of her (Gheg) localisms. The place of recording is not known for either the woman's recordings or for Hamp's comments.
Collection Technical Notes
Cassettes are dubs made in the LLA from a C90 cassette lent to lab c. 1998. (Hamp may of may not have operated the cassette player.) JJT is not sure whether the lab has the original on file or whether it was returned to Mr. Hamp.--JJT, 8/28/08. WAVE files are converted to MP3s.
