Collection Descriptive Notes
Native male speaker voices the tokens (from an unnamed text): 1) Vowels, 2) Consonants, 3) Examples of tones in Norwegian and 4) Norwegian sounds in groups for comparison. The recordings were made under the auspices of the Anglo-Norse Society (London) and distributed by the A.S. Lydbåndservice (Oslo).
Collection Technical Notes
Masters are the tapes sent from Norway and donated to the LLA by Timothy Schiff. The LLA did not obtain any text to accompany the tapes. The WAVE files are now converted to MP3s.
