Native speaker (female) does a fluent reading of Quichua folktales, the equivalent of Lessons 19-29, 32 & 33 of the Stark and Carpenter textbook. All titles and texts are read in Quichua only. [Note: Lesson 31 is an exception: it was recorded in the field and consists of a spontaneous conversation between two women.]
Collection Technical Notes
Tapes, produced at the University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign, are a subset of the complete series of lessons 1-33), donated to the LLA by Carol Hendrickson on 6/4/85. WAVE files are converted to MP3s.
