Eric Hamp, speaking English and aided by one or more Swedish speakers, evokes words and phrases from a (female) native speaker of a southern Swedish variety of Saami. (The name of the consultant is given only as "Inka", and the name of her native village sounds like "Yedlivarin".

Tape may or may not be the original recording made in Umeå, Sweden, on 13 May, 1975. It was sent to Eric Hamp, who donated it to the LLA in 1975. WAVE file is now converted to an MP3.
