Collection Descriptive Notes
Various native speakers (male and female) perform 16 songs, 28 stories, and 15 chants. The field recordings were made mainly in Ticul, Tecoh, and Komchen in the Yucatan from 1964 through at least 1974 by various researchers.
Collection Technical Notes
Cassettes are the copies compiled by Bolles from numerous field recordings and sent to the LLA by him, being received on 1/17/86. (Consult the "List of Titles on Tapes" for precise information on consultants, researchers, locales and some dates.) WAVE files are now converted to MP3s.
