Collection Descriptive Notes
A man speaking American English voices the English portions of the lessons, and a native speaker (male) supplies the Tibetan. (The text used was A Manual of Spoken Tibetan (Lhasa Dialect), by Kun Chang and Betty Shefts (University of Washington Press, 1964). A copy of the text may be found in Regenstein Library.
Collection Technical Notes
Tapes are almost certainly dubs made in the Language Lab c.1964 from the copies sent from the University of Washington (?). WAVE files are now converted to MP3s.
