Collection Descriptive Notes
American man reads the English tokens, and a native speaker (male) supplies the Sinhalese equivalents. (The text used here is almost certainly the one to be found in Regenstein Library: Colloquial Sinhalese, by Gordon H. Fairbanks, et al. (Ithaca New N.Y.: South Asia Program, Cornell University, 1968).)
Collection Technical Notes
Tape was dubbed in December 1968 from a set of 3.75 ips, half-track copies lent to the Language Lab by Steve Kemper. WAVE files are now converted to MP3s.
