Otomi: Witnessing texts (D. Bartholomew, c. 1964)

Access:
Collection Descriptive Notes
Three native male speakers bear witness to their faith--first in Otomi, then in Spanish. No date or place of taping is given for these recordings, but the dialect assigned to them by JJT is based on the title of Bartholomew's 1968 monograph, "Concerning the Elimination of Nasalized Vowels in Mezquital Otomi".
Collection Technical Notes
Tape is a dub made to "adjust speed" from Bartholomew's field recording. WAVE files are now converted to MP3s.
