Mashalov sings twelve songs with orchestral accompaniment: “Fifty fine fellows are drinking wine”; “Dimiter was telling Todorka”; “Radka is weaving the cloth”; “Mother is waking up Elka”; “Ding Dong Ganke le”; “They began playing, Doyne; "A cryer is crying through the village”; “Stoyan, the rebel leader”; “Dencho was telling his aunt”; “Leap up, Nedo” [with women's choir]; “Nikolcho cried out”; and “Lenche was tossing an apple”.
Collection Technical Notes
Tape was dubbed from the twelve-inch, 33⅓ rpm, vinyl disc, Balkanton BHA 199, lent to the LLA; JJT, rec. eng., Aug. 1977. (The date of the Balkanton release is unknown.) A photocopy of the back of the album is taped inside the front cover of the tape box. WAVE file is now converted to an MP3.
