This is a redigitization of Track 1 of the tape inasmuch as the earlier attempt was done poorly. Tape was played at double speed (3.75 ips) on the TEAC X-1000R. The earphone jack was used for the output. A second splitter was plugged into the left channel of the first splitter, and the two mono signals were patched into the UFO202 device, which was connected via a USB to the iMac running Audacity. JJT subsequently halved the "speed" of the file. On 5/15/17 JJT discovered that the previous "2b" was actually 2a, which has now been correctly labeled. He has also: 1) restored the proper speed to the first few seconds of the file and reduced the overall gain level. |
