Notes Tape is a dub from “1 7/8, 3 3/4 tape of Professor Zide: Extremely poor quality” (note on back of box). The recording begins with the 700-cycle level-setting tone; a brief (open-mike?) recording of someone typing follows. Inasmuch as the description of a "1 7/8 [ips]" recording does not fit any of the copies on five-inch reels, this may well be the best recording of the collected songs in the DMA collection.
