Content description |
Eric P. Hamp interviews Mrs. Wayashe in Northport on September 26 (and 27?) probably in 1969 just before his interview with Jessie Hall. [In light of the fact that Hamp prefaces the Hall interview with "Tape No. 2 of the 27th of September", it is possible that the Wayashe interview was recorded over two days.] |

Tape is the original field recording, recorded on both tracks. Note by JJT on the back of the box: "[Gift of E.P.H. 1/5/90] / Boxed: JJT 2/1/06". Note: It is not entirely certain that Track 1 was the first to be recorded; i.e., before Track 2. |
