Collection Descriptive Notes
Thirty-seven native speakers from various regions of Sweden relate one story each in their local dialect. Each narrative is transcribed and printed in the accompanying text. Around half of the texts are also translated into standard Swedish.
Collection Technical Notes
Phonograph records are the Swedish Society Discofil discs, 33131 B, 33132 B & 33133 B. The recordings are accompanied by a text of the same title, published by Discofil at Stockholm in 1957. Records and text are the gift of Daniel Olson to the LLA on 4/1/91. Note: The text has been completely scanned. WAVE files have now been converted to MP3s.
