Collection Descriptive Notes
Six native speakers are recorded by Thomas Smith-Stark at San Luis Jilotepeque, Guatemala, in 1975. [Note: the term "texts" follows Norman McQuown's usage, meaning discrete passages of spoken narrative.]
Collection Technical Notes
These tapes are dubs made by Joseph J. Toth in 1976 at the Language Lab from the C-90 cassette originals lent to the Lab by Smith-Stark. A photocopy of Smith-Stark’s notes are in each box.
