Masters are apparently dubs made in the Language Laboratory from the commercial tapes issued with the texts. Pauses for repetition were introduced in the process. Note that the "BIN" (for "binaural") is inaccurate; the recordings are two-track monophonic. Also note that the second tape (Lessons 16 & 17) could not be digitized since the numerous splices rendered it unplayable.
